"The first thing on most people's wish list is location and this property will take some beating. Just a mile from the centre of Reading with enough shopping, eating and cultural distractions to satisfy the whole family. If you fancy travelling further afield or you need to commute, Reading station is a 10 minute drive and you can be in Paddington in 30 minutes.

So what else is on your wish list? The neighbourhood? Well there is a rare sense of community in this crescent with very friendly neighbours and a handy recreation ground a short walk away where the kids can safely play. On the subject of kids, you're spoilt for choice with several highly rated schools nearby, and when they inevitably fall off their bikes, there are no less than three doctors within a half mile radius.

The house itself sits on an elevated position with enough parking for three cars plus a single garage (another box ticked). A handy hallway allows you to shed the wet coats and shoes before you enter the bright lounge to your right. Walking through the archway separating the lounge and dining areas you can see through the huge patio doors to the quiet, pretty garden which includes the most important feature for any garden - somewhere to sit and watch the afternoon sun disappear.

Moving back inside, the kitchen includes plenty of wall and base cabinets, a slimline dishwasher and space for all your appliances, but if you crave that huge American fridge, there's a handy utility room which also provides access to the garage. How's that box ticking coming along?

Upstairs we go past the bright and airy bathroom to the master bedroom which has a selection of built in wardrobes and a great view over the surrounding area. The second bedroom is plenty big enough for a double bed and includes the all important airing cupboard and the third bedroom

(currently used as a study) has a useful storage cupboard.
Not bad you say but one of our boxes is that our perfect house must have a riverside walk to the local pub. Well book a viewing to see this delightful home and I'll help you to tick that final box.
