CHADDLEWORTH Chaddleworth is a charming village North West of Newbury, below the southern slopes of the Berkshire Downs and is surrounded by open countryside. It is a highly sought after area as it has a good primary school and is in the Downs School Catchment, lovely pub and parish church and a golf course on the outskirts of the village. M4 Motorway Junction 14 is just 5 miles, also Junction 13 is 6 miles away, with main line rail services to London Paddington can be found in Hungerford (c. 9 miles) and Newbury (c.10 miles) along with most other amenities such as doctors, supermarkets and the like. PROPERTY Waylands is approached down a gravel driveway lined with neat hedges, which gives the property extra privacy in the already quiet village of Chaddleworth. There are steps up to the front door and the veranda which runs along the front of the property. The property is entered into the hallway with the sitting room immediately on the left. The sitting room has an open fire place and feels very spacious thanks to dual aspect windows and good ceiling height. Opposite the sitting room is the family room / bedroom two, which has a window to the front and double doors going through to the dining room. The dining room is very well lit and has excellent views over the garden thanks to the double patio doors leading to the garden. Across from the dining room is the kitchen which has a Rayburn, offering a good selection of cupboards, electric oven with hob, stainless steel sink overlooking the gardens and space for washing machine and dishwasher under the works surface. Off the kitchen is a recently refurbished shower room.
Upstairs is bedroom one. The room is complemented by the two sky lights which provide a flood of light. There is plenty of storage as the eaves of the property run along both sides of the bedroom, as well as a built in cupboard next to the en-suite bathroom.
This property offers enormous scope for further enlargement or development (subject to necessary planning) or a replacement dwelling given its quiet location and large plot size.
