"Built around 1920, this lovely period house has been a much loved family home for over 20 years. During this time the house has been updated and substantially extended, to include a impressive 40' drawing room with a vaulted ceiling, overlooking the garden. The whole house retains an attractive period feel, with many of the original features still in place. The ceiling heights, windows and fireplaces all reflect its period origins and adds to its unique feel. Located on a corner plot with a gated carriage driveway, it lies under half a mile from all the amenities of the New Town and mainline railway station.
