"A wonderful family home which has been built to exacting standards by Renaissance Homes. Set in leafy Burkes Road the house has been designed to combine the traditional architectural style of the Gothic era, with state of the art facilities. Of particular note is the wonderful reception hall, panelled in oak and incorporating intricate hand carved details which compliment the magnificent bespoke oak staircase; the wonderfully proportioned drawing room with feature fireplace and doors opening onto the large terrace adjacent to the rear garden; and the library, dominated by deep bay window and offering access to an oak and cast iron staircase that winds into the specially commissioned wine cellar and tasting area. The kitchen has been beautifully designed by Mark Wilkinson to reflect the gothic character of the house. It is fitted with a range of Miele built-in appliances including range cooker, microwave, steam oven and coffee machine, and is finished with granite work surfaces. The central island provides a focus to the kitchen and is decorated with a feature quatrefoil. Beyond the kitchen is the impressive vaulted family room, bathed in natural light from a magnificent double height window with stained glass inserts, and with concertina doors opening onto the terrace. The first floor extends to five bedrooms, each with individual en0suite bath/shower room. The master bedroom suite is particularly impressive, with a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden and doors opening into the bespoke designed dressing room and opulent en-suite bathroom. Provision has been made for an annexe bedroom including large living area, kitchen and bathroom and with its own independent access. The second floor comprises a two further en-suite bedrooms, a study and a substantial multi-purpose room, ideal for use as a games or cinema room.
