"Packhorse Cottage is an early 17th century stone cottage with plenty of character which has been extended on the ground floor with a beautiful orangery with underfloor heating that overlooks the garden.
On entering the cottage you are met with plenty of light from the very well appointed orangery to the rear of the kitchen that allows for great day to day living and entertaining that flows to the outside patio for an extensive entertainment space. The sitting room has a large fireplace and double aspect. Leading from the sitting room is an inner hallway to Bedroom 3/Study and the utility room and wet room with underfloor heating.
On the first floor there is a modern bathroom with roll top bath, separate shower and dual fuel towel rail, the master bedroom and another double bedroom. The landing and bedrooms offer lots of storage cupboards.

Situation
Set in the valley of the River Ock the village first appears in records as early as 965 and is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 as belonging to Abingdon Abbey. Marcham is a small yet thriving village with local amenities including a pre-school, primary school, Denman College, church, post office and village shop, pub, a new village hall and upgraded sports pitches/MUGA to be built April 2018. Frilford Heath Golf Club is approx 1.8 miles, Millets Farm is approx 2.1 miles and Marcham is close to Abingdon with a wider range of shopping facilities. There are a further range of schools in both Oxford and Abingdon. Communications are excellent with the A34 giving access to the M40 and M4 and Didcot Parkway station, approx 8 miles with a regular service to London Paddington. Oxford Parkway station is approx 13.9 miles away and provides a regular service to London Marylebone taking approx 1 hour. Marcham is also well placed for the local stations of Radley and Culham.
