" A detached 3 bedroom bungalow enjoying the benefit of a southerly aspect to the rear with delightful views over countryside from the principal windows and occupying a secluded position at the end of a no through road in this charming hamlet The bungalow was built in the 1980's as one of a pair set well back from the no through road and approached through electrically operated five-bar gates. The property occupies a slightly elevated position and as a result benefits from far-reaching views from most of the principal rooms.   It is ideally located for those seeking a rural environment without being isolated and it is within 0.2 of a mile from the Forest Way old railway line which provides excellent, walking, cycling and riding opportunities and access to the many footpaths which abound in the area.   The local public house is about half a mile away.

The accommodation is versatile and whilst there is a modern kitchen and bathroom there is scope for purchasers to put their own stamp on the property.   There is also potential for a loft conversion subject to the necessary consents.

The five-bar gates give access to a concrete driveway which provides off-road parking for several vehicles and leads to a DETACHED GARAGE with remote controlled up and over door, light and power.

THE GARDENS are a delightful feature of the property being well screened by mature hedging and shrubs which provide a good degree of seclusion and privacy.  To the front there are areas of lawn with flower borders and paved paths around the property with gated side access to the rear via a useful covered area with timber shed and outside tap.   The rear garden is south facing with paved terrace shaded by electrically operated sun blinds with sun and wind sensors and stretching the full width of the property.  There is a  low stone retaining wall with steps leading up to an expanse of lawn which culminates in a well stocked flower and shrub border.  Beyond is open farmland over which there are extensive views.  To the other side of the property there is hardstanding with TIMBER WORKSHOP about 12' x 10' with light and power and a GREENHOUSE about 12' x 7'  with power and outside tap.
