" Set within an exclusive private estate, yet on the edge of the historic and popular village of Hartfield, an attractive, detached country house enjoying lovely far-reaching views of the Ashdown Forest. Constructed approximately six years ago, external elevations are of mellow brick with timber cladding at first floor level, under a pitched tiles roof. Windows, French doors and bi-folding doors are double-glazed and include floor to ceiling panel to the front, which allow for maximum natural light penetration. There is under floor heating throughout the ground floor, fibre optic connected and a Sonos sound system throughout. Backing south, the level gardens surround the house and have been landscaped to keep in mind the nearby countryside whilst at the same time providing year round interest, mature trees, swathes of well-tended lawn and colourful herbaceous borders. There is a paved terrace for outdoor entertaining where there is a timber pergola over which scrambles various fragrant climbing plants. There is a gate from the rear of the garden, which provides direct access on to a public footpath that leads to the famed Pooh Sticks Bridge.
