Situation

Buildwas is an attractive small rural village, pleasantly situated in the beautiful Shropshire countryside a little over 2 miles due west of the historic township of Ironbridge which is a World Heritage site.  The village has the added advantage of a primary school and is conveniently situated some 7 miles south west of the wide range of shopping and recreational facilities at Telford town centre, the railway station and the M54.  Much Wenlock is some 4 miles distant and Shrewsbury some 9 miles.

The property is situated in a cul-de-sac type location and has an outlook towards Buildwas Primary School and valley beyond.

The property

Offers scope for complete modernisation.  The accommodation comprises an entrance porch which gives access to the hallway and kitchen/diner.  The hallway has a cupboard housing the property’s hot water cylinder, further door leading to the kitchen/diner and gives access to the lounge, two bedrooms and bathroom/wc.  The kitchen/diner has a base unit with inset sink and space for appliances.  The lounge has a period fireplace and uPVC double opening doors leading to the garden.  The master bedroom also has a period style fireplace and an outlook towards the front.  The second bedroom has an outlook towards the rear.  The bathroom/wc would benefit from some updating and currently comprises a panelled bath, wall mounted wash hand basin and low flush wc.

Outside

To the front of the property there is a hedged boundary, gated access leading to a block paved footpath with grassed areas either side with a number of inset shrubs which continues to the side where there is a paved area and grassed area continuing to the rear.

How to get there – from Ironbridge take the road towards Buildwas and Much Wenlock; at Buildwas turn right and immediately left onto the B4380 towards Shrewsbury; when entering the village take the 1st turn right by the village hall into Park View – continue up the hill and bear round to the left where the property is almost at the end on the right hand side indicated by a Nick Tart for sale board.
