" Offering very flexible and adaptable accommodation, this modern chalet style detached house is ideal for those with an elderly relative (or for teenagers wanting their own space!) It is pleasantly situated on a corner plot on a small development on the outskirts of Wem and thus enjoys the benefit of easy access of the town, whilst also being well placed for nearby open countryside. Wem itself is served by a good range of local shops and supermarkets and there are road links to Shrewsbury, Whitchurch and Ellesmere. The house has the advantage of two spacious upstairs bedrooms and a refitted bathroom with a white suite. Downstairs is where the adaptable layout becomes obvious. Not only is there a comfortable L shaped Lounge with dining area, but there is also a third bedroom and whilst the current owners have a separate dining room, this could easily be utilised as a fourth bedroom or a sitting room, if required. There is the benefit of a downstairs WC in the cloakroom. Outside, the driveway provides off road parking for at least four cars, in addition to the single garage. There is a good sized lawned front garden and the easily managed rear garden which is enclosed for the safety of children and pets, is offered with a substantial 2,500 gallon Koi pond. If not required, this could be removed and would provide a lot more garden area.
