" A picturesque Grade II Listed thatched cottage, understood to date in part from the 16th century, being situated along a small "no through" lane within the village.

Quintins offers well proportioned accommodation with many attractive period features, including inglenook fireplaces and exposed wall and ceiling timbers. It has been well maintained with a recently re-thatched roof. There is a good sized sitting room which opens into the dining room and on the first floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Outside there is a delightful garden surrounding the cottage with a mature Wisteria and rose beds leading via steps and a wrought iron gate to Sandy Lane. The remainder of the garden is pleasantly landscaped with a generous area of lawn, mature trees and a colourful variety of shrubs and bushes. A paved terrace adjoins the property and there is also an enclosed area of wild garden which could be included in the formal garden if required.

The location of the cottage is as attractive as the property, with Sandy Lane leading to the village cricket/recreation ground and woodland beyond. The larger village of Pulborough is about three miles north; it has good local food shops, as well as two supermarkets, and a mainline railway station with services to London/Victoria. Across the River Arun, Storrington is approximately five miles distant and the larger towns of Horsham and Chichester are about eighteen and fifteen miles respectively.

Many sporting and leisure pursuits can be enjoyed locally with horse racing at Goodwood and Fontwell Park, sailing at Littlehampton and Chichester harbours and golf at the West Sussex Golf Club in Pulborough. Watersfield is within the newly formed South Downs National Park, where there is excellent walking and riding country.

From Pulborough travel south on the A29, passing through the villages of Hardham and Coldwaltham. On entering Watersfield continue down the hill before turning right into Sandy Lane. Take the left hand fork and Quintins will be found about 200 yards along on the left hand side set back from the lane.
