" This is a rare opportunity for one lucky purchaser to buy this picturesque semi detached cottage located in the heart of the Ashdown Forest. The house offers a wealth of character and spacious accommodation over 3 floors. The ground floor provides a generous sitting room with feature wood burner and French doors that lead out to the garden. There is also a dining room, 21'2" kitchen and shower room. The bedrooms are all generously proportioned and there are 3 of them as well as the family bathroom on the first floor. Finally a delightful spiral staircase takes you to the loft room that has a multitude of uses. Being on the top floor you also get the best view of the garden from here.As good as the house is, we feel it's where the property is and of course the garden that will seal the deal. The plot is just incredible and if the wealth of trees, plants and shrubs on offer wasn't enough, the plot also sides onto open fields - the Ashdown Forest itself can be accessed via a gate at the rear of the garden.Finishing off there's a detached double garage and ample off road parking. There are limitless options with this house and we feel the accommodation could be increased (subject to planning permission).

What the Owner says:

We had a real fight on our hands when we bought this house over 10 years ago. It was in high demand because of where it is and I'm glad to say we were lucky enough to secure it.
It's a delight living here. We feel so privileged to have so much wildlife and scenery surrounding us. We try hard not to take it for granted.
The garden is where we love to spend most of our time (weather permitting). We have a large patio to the rear and side and this is great for barbecues and entertaining.
The house has always been more than enough for our requirements but there is plenty of room to extend if anyone needed more.
