Tucked away at the end of a country lane, this attractive two bedroom semi-detached cottage lies in a sought-after location within walking distance of Hexham. It has extensive mature gardens, lovely walks from the door, a great local pub, cafe, fishing club, fitness studio and local bus service - all within 5 minutes walk.

The internal accommodation is in good decorative order throughout. The bright, spacious living room has windows on all four sides with double-glazed patio doors leading into the garden, it has a multi-fuel stove and two oil-fired central heating radiators. Attractive arched half-glazed wooden doors lead from the living room into a south-facing dining room with Jotul wood-burning stove, central heating radiator, double-glazed sash window and built-in wooden storage cupboards. A porch off the dining room leads onto a delightful south-facing sandstone patio overlooking the riverbank. There is a modern kitchen with ceramic floor tiles, space for a fridge-freezer and plumbing for a washing machine. There is planning permission (lapsed) for a ground floor extension with cloakroom, shower room and WC.

Upstairs boasts two double bedrooms with cental heating radiators and double-glazed windows with beautiful views of the gardens. The family bathroom has an enamel bath with electric glass-screened shower over, a ceramic pedestal wash basin, low-level WC and heated towel rail.
