DETAILS This most attractive three bedroom bungalow with one bedroom annexe is conveniently located very close to the schools and heart of Woodbridge. The property was built by the vendor, a reputable local builder, in 1979/80 for his own occupation. Well presented and maintained, it is set in generous front and rear gardens with a south facing rear aspect.

About the Area Woodbridge is a well served market town that is steeped in history with a fine selection of shops and restaurants; it has two theatres, a swimming pool, doctors, dentists and railway station on the Ipswich-Lowestoft East Suffolk Line. Woodbridge lies along the River Deben and it was the centre for boat building, rope making and sail making in the Middle Ages and is still renowned for its sailing facilities. Around the town there are various buildings from the Tudor, Georgian, Regency and Victorian eras. Nearby schools include the highly regarded Abbey (Preparatory School) & Woodbridge School (Senior School), Melton Primary School and Farlingaye High School. The County Town of Ipswich is 10 miles south-west of Woodbridge and benefits from a railway station located on the Great Eastern Main Line approximately seventy miles east of London Liverpool Street Station and a journey time of approximately one hour and ten minutes. 

Directions From our Woodbridge office, drive up Church Street and bear right at the bottom of the Market Square, passing The Bull Hotel on your right. At the top of New Street (and with The Bull still on your right), turn immediately left into Chapel Street. At the junction at the end of Chapel Street, turn right into Bredfield Street, continue to the top of North Hill and turn left into Bredfield Road. Now continue all the way to the T-junction and turn left onto the A1152/Woods Lane. At the roundabout turn left onto the A12. Take the first turning left into Haugh Lane. Continue two thirds of the way down Haugh Lane with Houchells Meadow to your Right. A house sign for The Sheiling (number 3a Haugh Lane) is located on a wooden close boarded fence on the left hand side. The property is set well back off the road and the double garage is visible from the road.
