" A rare opportunity to purchase this detached period home which was substantially extended in the 1960's to provide a well proportioned and comfortable home. Thatchers is situated at the end of a long gravel driveway and is set in lovely gardens, amounting in all to about one acre. The accommodation comprises covered porch with courtesy light and double glazed sliding patio doors to the entrance hall which has a staircase to the first floor landing, timber beams to ceiling, built-in storage cupboard with further door to a plant/flower room. The utility/cloakroom has a stainless steel sink unit with mixer tap, plumbing for an automatic washing machine, low level wc and quarry tiled flooring. The well proportioned drawing room has a feature brick open hearth fireplace with copper canopy, parquet flooring, exposed beams to walls and ceiling and double glazed leaded light door to the outside. The dual aspect dining room has exposed beams to two walls, built-in storage cupboard and double glazed door to the outside.
