My mother fell in love with this maisonette the minute she walked in. The neighbours were all very friendly and she had a great sense of community spirit. She loved having a spare bedroom for when her daughter came to visit. On a practical level it was really handy for her to walk into the village which she could do in five minutes and a trip to the beach in the same time. She moved into the maisonette intending to stay there for the rest of her life. She was so happy and content that she did exactly that.
