There is also a cloakroom and this is fitted with a low flush WC and wash basin. Situation
Flamstead is a pretty Hertfordshire village occupying an elevated position approximately 7 miles from St Albans city centre. The M1 is available at junction 9 and the A5. Locally there is a village store and post office, several pubs, local school and church.
The historical city of St Albans provides for a comprehensive range of shopping and leisure facilities. Locally there is an excellent selection of schooling; both state and private. For the commuter, there is a fast one stop train link to London St Pancras International and Kings Cross Station (fast train 19 mins) connecting to Eurostar service direct to Brussels and Paris . The M25 is available at junction 21A and 22 and the M1 at junction 6. The surrounding countryside provides for an abundance of leisure activities to include walking, riding, numerous golf courses, leisure centres and many areas of historical interest.
