"A very WELL PRESENTED semi-detached BUNGALOW (732 sq ft) in a convenient location with a lovely garden sloping gently down to the river. Large porch/utility room, sitting/dining room, kitchen. Two bedrooms, bathroom. Garage, ample driveway parking, large mature garden.

Location The market town of Malmesbury sits on the highly desirable Gloucestershire/Wiltshire borders, just 12 miles from Cirencester, 'the capital of the Cotswolds.' Malmesbury is reputed to be England's oldest borough, dating from around 880 AD. It has a good selection of shops and a regular farmers' market, a library, museum, leisure centre with pool, two primary schools and a 'High Performing Academy' secondary school. The 12th century Abbey and Abbey House Gardens together with the nearby Westonbirt Arboretum are significant tourist attractions. The Royal estates of Highgrove and Gatcombe Park are close by and the area is known for its country sports, excellent walking, cycling and water sports. The cosmopolitan city of Bath is 23 miles south-west. J17 of the M4 provides access to the area's major employment centres and there are trains to Paddington in just over an hour from Chippenham, Kemble and Swindon. The Property Built in the 1970's, this well presented semi-detached property is one of few non-estate bungalows in the town. It is conveniently located for the supermarket and has a large mature garden that slopes gently down at the rear to the River Avon, which makes a very pleasant back drop for the property. (NB there is no history of flooding here but the land on the opposite side of the river does form part of the flood plain). A gas fired boiler in the hall supplies central heating and hot water, with radiators in all rooms. Both bedrooms are at the rear overlooking the generous garden with the larger bedroom having one wall of built-in wardrobes. The bathroom is as well presented as the rest of the property. Outside There is extensive driveway parking adjacent to the garage, with a greenhouse at the rear. The large garden is chiefly laid to lawn with well stocked shrub borders.
