2 Briarlea is a handsome stone built, semi-detached villa with a stunning facade dating from circa 1880. The property enjoys a prime elevated position with uninterrupted panoramic views over the loch and back towards the harbour and town centre. It is located in a very sought-after residential area of town. A vestibule and reception hallway lead to the main accommodation with stairs to the upper floor. The reception rooms are to the front of the property and take advantage of the fantastic views. The property is set out over two floors and offers excellent family living and entertaining spaces. On the ground floor there is a drawing room, sitting room both with fireplaces, kitchen diner, utility room and a store. The upper floors are reached by a stunning mahogany and wrought iron staircase. On the half landing is a separate w.c.
To the front are two large bedrooms with loch views and located between them is a smaller fourth bedroom. To the back of the house is a bedroom and the family bathroom.
The property has not been lived in for many years and will require structural work and extensive renovation. Upon completion the owner will have a lovely family home to enjoy.

Campbeltown has a population of about 4,500 people and offers a good range of amenities including two large supermarkets, cinema, hospital, health centre and primary and secondary education. There is a splendid natural harbour with pontoon facilities and active sailing club. For the golfing enthusiast the renowned 18- hole and 9- hole links at Machrihanish and the Machrihanish Dunes course both are only 6 miles to the west of the town. There is also a most picturesque 18- hole golf course at Southend and a challenging 9- hole course at Carradale.
About two miles out of town is the local airport with twice daily half hour weekday flights to and from Glasgow.
