" Offering a great mix of period features, alongside contemporary fittings, is this three bedroom mid-terraced Victorian property. Situated just a short walk from the Central Line and Queens's Road this property has been much improved and extended by the present owner to create a wonderfully comfortable family home.

You are welcomed into an entrance hall with its period features, the black and white tiled floor being particularly striking. The through lounge offers space for both relaxing and dining and has a lovely warm feel due to its cast iron fireplaces, wooden flooring, picture rails and bespoke storage built into the alcoves.

The extended kitchen has a more modern feel, with cream units and contrasting granite work surfaces. There is ample space for a breakfast bar and appliances, including a range cooker and American style fridge. The dishwasher is integrated and there is plenty of storage space. This opens out to a sitting area, which makes a perfect family or entertaining space, particularly with its bi-fold doors bringing the house and garden together. To conclude the downstairs accommodation is a very useful utility room and a guest cloakroom.

To the first floor are three well-appointed bedrooms, the master being a delightfully characterful room, the focal point being its cast iron fireplace. The family bathroom has been updated with a white suite and contrasting porcelain tiling.

The rear garden is a good size with raised decking area, lawn, borders and to the rear are two excellent storage sheds. There is an access road to the rear of the garden, so a garage could be built if required.

Alfred Road is a sought after turning due to its proximity to the Central Line Station, Queen's Road's shops, cafes and restaurants, alongside Buckhurst Hill Primary School.

Buckhurst Hill is a popular choice with a large range of excellent schools, transport links, trendy shops and with Epping Forest on the doorstep. The Central Line gives easy access to the City, Canary Wharf and West End, and for road users, the M25, M11 and routes into London are conveniently close by.
