The front garden is over thirty feet long and about fifty five feet wide. It is bounded by copper beech hedges and there is a well stocked rose bed near the front door. There's a driveway at each side of the house and each one leads to a brick garage with up and over door, light and power.
The front garden is well screened from the road and most of the rest is laid to lawn. There's a side access to the left which leads past the utility door through a brick arch with a wrought iron gate to the rear garden. This is about a hundred and twenty feet long, mainly lawn on two levels with a tiny stream or rill running through the bottom part. Very pretty. The boundaries are well hedged giving exceptional privacy and there's a gate at the far end into the woods and on to the River Bourne. Timber garden shed.
Across the back of the house is a raised patio overlooking it all. "
