" Description    A three bedroom chain free mid terrace Victorian property. The house has two reception rooms, a fitted kitchen to the rear and ground floor bathroom. On the first floor are two generous sized bedrooms and a further room in the loft. There are many original features giving the property character and there is also gas central heating and double glazing.

Situation    The property is situated in the village of Hawkhurst which provides a wide selection of local stores that accommodate every day needs including an organic butcher, chemist, post office, bakers, florist, hair dressers and two high street banks. There is also a Budgens supermarket and a number of well regarded public houses, a medical centre, dental surgery and veterinary surgery also in the village. Whilst just outside of the village is the Hawkhurst Cottage Hospital. Nearby mainline stations at Etchingham and Staplehurst provide fast and frequent services to London Bridge, Cannon Street and Charing Cross as well as connections to Gatwick and Ashford International Station with services to Europe. Hawkhurst and the surrounding area benefits from a number of well regarded state and independent schools for children of all ages including the sought after Cranbrook School (the catchment area of which encompasses the property) Mulborough House, Vinehall and Benenden School.
