" You enter into a grand central hallway that gives access to all rooms. The first thing you notice are the high ceilings, ornate cornicing and wooden floors, all of which run throughout the main reception rooms. To the left are the two large reception rooms. The front is being used as a librarymusic room with a large bay window and feature fireplace and the rear is the main living room. This room also opens into the kitchen. The kitchen is made up of integrated wooden units with a granite work surface and large central island. Glass doors lead you out to a lovely orangery overlooking the garden. Off the hall is a great study, a WC and stairs down to a handy basement. On the first floor are four double bedrooms, all with large sash windows and three with original fireplaces and two bathrooms. The top floor is currently laid out as a principle suite with a double bedroom, spacious bathroom, a large dressing room and plenty of eaves storage. This floor could easily be used as two bedrooms. This wonderful home boasts the most incredible garden. The 125ft south facing garden has been beautifully landscaped to create a fantastic space for entertaining with a large decked area out from the house, a well-manicured lawn and is surrounded by mature trees for privacy. It is worth noting that in 2005 the property underwent a complete renovation, bringing it back to brick, replastered and the electrics and plumbing redone.
