" This charming grade 2 listed character cottage dates to 1789 and conveniently located within conservation area in the heart of the town centre and just a short walk to the river Thames. Beautifully presented throughout with off street parking for one car. Many of its original features still present with accommodation comprising; entrance hall, lounge with fire place and wood burner, kitchendining room with original working range, integrated appliances and exposed beams, studyboot room, bathroom, two double bedrooms (main bedroom has fitted wardrobes) and a first floor cloakroom. To the rear of the cottage, you will find a patio garden and a further shared area of garden with rear access onto St Leonards Lane. Allocated parking for one car can be found to the left of the property on Wood Street. No Chain.

Wallingford was a walled Saxon Town on the Thames, and the remains of the town walls can still be seen today. William the Conqueror built Wallingford Castle, which was used as a royal residence until the time of the Black Death. The remains of the Castle can be seen from the Castle Gardens.
