This extended detached home, built in 1963, can be found in a quiet cul-de-sac on the south side of Orpington and is just a third of a mile to Orpington station.

Having had a large extension to the rear of the property, the ground floor has expansive living space while upstairs there are four double bedrooms. There is a sheltered entrance porch at the front and a part glazed hard wood front door and side panel that leads to the hall. In the hallway you will find built-in book shelves and stairs to the first floor with an understairs cupboard. There is also an internal door for access to the garage.

Located off the hallway, is a WC with tiled floor and part-tiled walls, a window to the side, radiator, low level WC and pedestal wash hand basin.

The large, double aspect reception room has parquet flooring and a feature fireplace with open flue, ash pan and external cleaning facility. The room is open-plan to the rear sitting room which features windows and a double door to the rear garden and skylight windows above.

The kitchen is semi-open plan to the dining room and is fitted with a range of wall and base units with work surfaces over. It has a stainless steel Franke sink unit with Franke mixer tap and built-in double oven, gas hob and extractor canopy. There is space and plumbing for a dishwasher or washing machine and the boiler for the gas central heating and hot water is wall mounted. There is a frosted door and window to the side.

Upstairs, there is a carpeted landing with access to the spacious loft via a ceiling hatch.
There are four bedrooms on the first floor, all with carpeting. Bedroom one (which can accommodate a super-king bed) has large fitted wardrobes and a storage alcove.

The family bathroom has a modern white suite comprising a panelled bath with β€˜Aqualisaβ€˜ power shower over, pedestal wash hand basin and low-level WC. It has tiled flooring and walls, a heated towel rail and frosted window to the rear.

Outside, there is a private rear garden with paved patio and an expanse of lawn with raised flower beds and shrub borders. It has side pedestrian access and a large timber shed.
The frontage consists of a block paved driveway that leads to the integral garage and provides off-street parking for around four cars.

The garage has an up and over door to the front and is also fitted at one end with cupboards, a sink, and has plumbingspace for a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Orpington is a thriving suburban town within the M25 with many people drawn to the area for the reputable schools and the railway station that can transport you into London in as little as 17 minutes. Schools close by include the highly regarded St. Olave-s Grammar School for Boys which is under half a mile away. Newstead Wood School for Girls is less than a mile away. The town centre has a comprehensive range of shops and facilities including the Walnuts Shopping Centre and Odeon cinema. Sports facilities are also well catered for with the Walnuts Leisure Centre, golf courses, football and rugby clubs all within the area. You will also find larger stores at the Nugent Retail Park along with electrical superstores, furniture shops and DIY centres along the Sevenoaks Way. Shopping centres at Bluewater and Bromley can also be found within 10 miles drive or bus ride. "
