"Half Moon House is a light, spacious, family home, set in a secluded garden with stunning views.

The wide, limestone entrance hallway leads to all reception rooms, starting with the triple aspect sitting room and double aspect dining room. The sitting room has an open fire, and looks over the beautiful garden, which can be accessed from a door to the terrace. The dining room has a solid American beech wood floor and lies back to back with the family room, where French doors open onto a dappled courtyard. The beech wood floor continues in the breakfast room and kitchen, where a further set of French doors open directly on to the large garden with its magnificent vista.

On the first floor are five bedrooms, three of which look out over the south facing garden to the views beyond. The master bedroom and guest bedroom each have an en suite bathroom, whilst there is an additional family bathroom for the other bedrooms.

Situation
Half Moon House is tucked away in an undisturbed spot, half a mile up the sought-after location of Farnham Lane. At the top of the lane, lies Hindhead Common and the Devil's Punch Bowl: a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty with 1600 acres of open countryside and miles of foot and bridle paths. The house is also close to the bustling town centre, which offers character, community and convenience. There are many independent shops and boutiques, as well as a Waitrose and M&S Foodhall. Haslemere Hall provides an eclectic mix of cinema, theatre and music, while sporting facilities include two leisure centres, local golf courses and a tennis club.

Schooling in the area is superb, with renowned independent schools, including St Ives, The Royal School, St Edmunds and Amesbury. Additionally, there are highly regarded state schools for all age groups.

Half Moon House is situated down a short private track, which leads to its gravelled driveway with generous parking. To the side there is a detached oak triple garage, plus a separate storage room at the rear with power and lighting.

The plot extends to 0.71 acres and is mainly laid to lawn, with mature shrub and hedge borders, magnificent oak trees and raised flower beds. It is extremely peaceful and delivers panoramic South Easterly views across Haslemere and towards the South Downs. To the other side of the house is a secluded courtyard, accessed from the family room, which offers a private space to read or relax.

Additional Information
