"The owners had viewed several properties around Medway and Maidstone areas before finding this modern detached home. It was the village location and the surrounding beautiful countryside, which made up the main reasons for the current owners purchasing this property.

At one point with over 6 people living at the property, it was important that additional space was made and therefore the owners converted half the double garage into living accommodation, this now provides a ground floor bedroom which is ideal for the owner’s son, giving him a room over 18ft in length and therefore plenty of space to spread out.

Other improvements included made to measure blinds fitted in the conservatory and this is now used as a main dining area freeing up the official dining room as more additional space for the family.

One of the huge benefits the owners have enjoyed is being able to take a short walk to the RSPB reserve at Northwood Hill, which is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet and get plenty of fresh air.

What the Owner says:

It was the perfect family home that we were looking for and it has certainly proved to be that since our ownership. The south west facing garden really enjoys the sun, particularly in the afternoons and evenings and is a great place to relax.

We’ve made lots of improvements since we have been here, but one of the most recent changes is the re-fitted bathroom, which has been re-tiled with new tap fittings and a shower.

The village has a real community spirit about it and is very peaceful and although it is a cliché, my neighbours really are lovely!
