A three bedroom detached bungalow set within the rural village of Arlecdon and having the benefit of a gas fired central heating system and double glazing, gardens to front and rear, double garage and conservatory. The property enjoys views from the rear over open countryside. EPC rating is Grade D. A copy of the certificate will be available for inspection upon request.

Location

The property is situated within the rural village of Arlecdon which has a general store. post and a primary school within 100 yards. Arlecdon is situated between the towns of Whitehaven and Cockermouth and has good road links to the western Lake District Fells and the main commercial areas of west Cumbria.

Our View

The Swallows is a spacious three bedroomed detached bungalow having accommodation to include entrance hall with two radiators, loft access via a pull down ladder and two recessed storage cupboards. From the hall there is access to the lounge/dining room. The lounge area has a fireplace with a multi fuel burning stove, double glazed window, telephone point, radiator, television aerial point, dado rail and coving to ceiling. An archway opens through to the dining area which has french doors opening out to the conservatory, radiator and ceiling coving. The conservatory has views, access door to the garden and a radiator. The kitchen has a range of wall and base units incorporating a sink unit, integrated appliances to include a double electric oven, microwave, gas hob with extractor hood, refrigerator, dishwasher and a carousel, double glazed window with views over the open countryside, telephone point and a radiator. A door from the kitchen leads to the utility room with tiled flooring, double glazed door, wall mounted gas fired condensing combination boiler and plumbing for washing machine and appliance space. Off the utility room is a cloakroom with wc, double glazed window and a radiator. From the inner hall there is access to all three bedrooms which each have radiators, double glazed windows and ceiling coving. The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes and a chest of drawers. The family bathroom has a three piece suite comprising a corner spa style bath, wc, wash hand basin, shower cubicle, bidet, part tiled walls, extractor fan, double glazed window and a radiator. The double garage has power and two remote controlled doors (not tested). There is a lawned rear garden with paved area,a summerhouse and greenhouse. The front garden is laid to lawn with various shrubs and bushes. The driveway provides off street parking and leads to the garage.

Directions
