" From the minute you walk through the front door into the lounge with its period feature fireplace and new oak floor you know that this property has been well maintained and cared for, and the rest of the property does not disappoint. The owners have invested much time and money over the last few years to update and improve this two bedroom character period terrace that we now offer to the market in show room condition. It means that all buyers need to do is move in and put their feet up.Both the extended kitchen and bathroom have been refitted to an excellent standard and really add to the WOW factor. The boiler was replaced in 2007 and a new front door and double glazed windows were fitted as recently as 2009, making the house more energy efficient and helping to keep those gas bills down. The dining room also has a feature fireplace with stairs leading to the first floor, the arrangement of which could make it relatively simple to add a second flight of stairs if you were to consider a loft conversion. The rear garden was not left out either, with a new patio area in Indian sandstone that now leads to the lawn and storage shed to the rear.

What the Owner says:

We liked the house when we bought it because of its character. We've kept the original features in place but have modernised everywhere over the past few years to create a home that now only requires minimal maintenance.Location was also an important consideration for us when we bought this property. I travel up to London on a daily basis, so being near to the railway station was an absolute must. The station is around 5 minutes from home whilst it's also just a short walk to the town centre and the shops. These are the two of the main reasons why we are looking to stay in the local area ourselves.
