From Lymington proceed in a northerly direction on the A337 Brockenhurst Road. After approximately one mile turn left by the Monkey House (public house) signposted Sway. Continue for a further mile or so before turning right opposite the Wheel (public house) into Pitmore Lane. Continue for a further mile and a half onto the open forest before turning left past the Hare & Hounds (public house). Continue on through the bends for a further mile before taking a right hand turn into Crabbswood Lane. At the end turn left into Middle Road with Candleford House being found on the left hand side after a few hundred yards.
