" The property is located on the Isle of Sheppey which is an island off the north coast of Kent in the Thames Estuary. The area is made up of 3 main Islands, Sheppey, Harty and Elmley and in the past were called the Isles of Sheppey, however that was before the channels separating the Islands silted up. Eastchurch derived it's name from being the next parish East from Minster and is situated on the high ground in the middle of the Eastern part of Sheppey. Eastchurch has a rich history: The parish dates from medieval times, Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn spent their honeymoon at nearby Shurland Hall and the village is renowned as the home of early pioneers of aviation, the Wright brothers

Coastal pursuits and water sports including yachting, surfing, windsurfing, jet-skiing and fishing are an integral part of Island life and you can spend time on Quality Coast Award beaches at Sheerness and Leysdown.
