ENTRANCE HALL, CELLAR, 3 RECEPTIONS, KITCHEN, 4 BEDROOMS, GARDENS, CHARACTER FEATURES, CLOSE TO TOWN CENTRE, HUGE POTENTIAL!

DIRECTIONS:   Proceed in a southerly direction through Uckfield High Street and turn left at the traffic lights onto Framfield Road. Number 36 will be found on the right hand side indicated by our For Sale Board.

SITUATION:  The property is situated in a central location close to all amenities. Uckfield has good shopping facilities, well regarded schools, restaurants, cinema, leisure centre/swimming pool complex and railway station with services to London Bridge and East Croydon. There are bus services to Tunbridge Wells and Brighton.

TO BE SOLD:   Theproperty is mid c19 and is therefore early Victorian Gothic as the use ofpolychrome (2 colour brick and Caen stone demonstrates.) Early occupants seem tohave come from the aspiring classes (eg Station Manager.)  It retains most of the original cast-ironfireplaces and their masonry surrounds. The signs of a former Range in Reception 2 suggest that this once servedas a kitchen/scullery.  Unusually, forits date, there was a slate damp-proof course in the original construction.
