OWNERS COMMENTS: We were first attracted to the Castle View area of Canvey Island back in 1993 and were immediately drawn to the fabulous unrestricted views of Hadleigh Downs and Benfleet Creek that can be seen from the house. Close proximity to the town centre, and with a local convenience shop a few minutes walk away, together with Benfleet railway station a five minute drive away, has meant that this has been an ideal location for us.

We have lived in the property from the time it was first built and have enjoyed making various renovations and improvements over the years including a recent new kitchen, French doors to replace patio doors and a new energy efficient boiler last year.

From a gate at the end of the rear garden we have access on to the golf course and lovely sea wall walks - and a regular week-end walk for us is on the Benfleet side of the Creek to Old Leigh via Hadleigh Country Park.

During our 19 years of living here we have enjoyed our mature garden which has been a source of pleasure for us over the years, especially with the open aspect over the golf course, and the decking area is a favourite place for us to sit and enjoy the views to Hadleigh Downs and the Creek.

We are sorry to be leaving our house where we have raised our family over the years, and will remember our time here with great fondness and hope that the next owners will enjoy living here as much as we have.
