" A first floor flat located at the front of this well-loved development for the over fifty-five's. Ellingham Close is located just a short distance from the town centre with a regular bus service nearby in Jacklyns Lane. The flats benefit from a residents' lounge with attached communal kitchen, landscaped gardens and residents' parking. They are managed by Stonewater and have a non-resident manager who is regularly on-site and there is also a 24 hour alarm-call service available. There is a lovely communal garden that is for the use of the residents and some parking for residents and their visitors.

The property is approached from Grange Road with a shared front door opening to a communal hallway and stairs to the first floor. The front door of the flat opens to a hallway, where there is an airing cupboard housing a hot water tank. The living room is located at the front of the property, with a southerly outlook over Grange Road. The kitchen has a range of fitted kitchen units and worktops and spaces for appliances. Both bedrooms face the rear of the property and have pleasant views over the communal gardens. The main bedroom has double wardrobe with a sliding door. The bathroom has a white suite comprising a corner shower cubicle, pedestal wash hand basin and wc.

Alresford is a beautiful Georgian town known for its variety of independent shops, restaurants and inns located in stunning surroundings on the edge of the South Downs National Park. Attractions include the Watercress steam railway, schools for infant, junior and secondary education, several churches and an active and inclusive community. The cathedral city of Winchester is about 7 miles away and there is easy access to the south coast, the midlands and London via the road network. There is also mainline rail access to London from both Winchester and Alton. Southampton airport is only about half an hour away by car

Within the service charge a contribution is made towards the sinking fund, the on-site scheme manager's salary and costs, and Stonewater's administration costs.

STAIR LIFT Stonewater have taken over the responsibility for the maintenance of the stairlifts, which service the first floor flats. This is a requirement of Zurich Insurance, who insure the scheme. Stonewater have absorbed these maintenance costs recently, but plan to pass the cost on to the owners of the first floor flats in due course. At the moment, all the stairlifts are working well. The stairlifts remain in the ownership of one or other of the first floor flats. Please note that the blocks housing flats 8-11 and 13-16 do not have stairlifts installed.
