" Talk about getting bang for your buck. We're loving this tidy maisonette in East Dulwich. You have 2 large doubles and a big single bedroom; there's very good living space downstairs as the dining area's open to the kitchen and has a French door to the garden. There's also a further reception (with a solid wood herringbone floor) and walls throughout the property have been freshly painted white, so they'll be no yukky picture shadows when you move in.
The utility area has plumbing for a washing machine, space for an upright fridge/freezer and large integral cupboards. There's also a useful downstairs loo. Upstairs, bedrooms are bright and welcoming and the bathroom is fresh and clean. Double-glazed exist throughout and are all relatively new and very high performance. Much care has been taken in the garden too, which has an outstanding mature wisteria trailing along one side, a pine, apple tree, established elderflower, grape vine and borders full of lobelia and sweet peas. From the upper level you overlook the gated communal playground. This is a fabulous space that's completely private to residents and has contemporary children's play equipment, lots of green grass and bamboo, plum and staghorn saplings.
You are superbly placed for Dulwich Infants' Primary School, Lordship Lane and also East and North Dulwich train stations. It's tucked away far enough from the main drag so as to buffer noise, yet is close enough to saunter to central SE22 in minutes. Trains from East and North Dulwich travel to London Bridge.
