LOCAL INFORMATION
Henley on Thames is a charming and famous riverside market town, within 10 miles of Reading, 35 miles of Central London, and 25 miles from Heathrow. Shopping includes Waitrose, Sainsburys and Tescos, Joules, Fat Face, Crew Clothing, Starbucks, Caf? Nero and Maison Blanc, plus a wide variety of independent restaurants, cafes and pubs, including Hotel du Vin. As well as the world famous Royal Regatta in July, The Henley Festival is a big draw for visitors. Henley has a lovely 3 screen cinema plus the Kenton Theatre. Local sporting amenities include 3 rowing clubs, 2 golf courses and 2 gyms.
