" Built in honey-coloured local stone, Walnut Cottage dates from the 1800's and has recently been entirely extended and renovated by the current owner, creating a charming village property which retains its period character. The interior of the cottage has a number of original features such as preserved oak beams in two inglenooks and exposed stone work, and has been enhanced by additions such as bespoke oak doors with latch-handles, solid oak exterior doors and an under-floor heating system which runs throughout both floors. The cottage has many windows making the most of the lovely setting and views, and the whole property is flooded with natural light. The pretty landscaped garden surrounds the property and has a wonderful aspect with views across to the village and directly onto open park and meadows that are a haven for wildlife and birds. "
