Appleford-on-Thames is a village and civil parish on the south bank of the River Thames about 2 miles north of Didcot, and approximately 4 miles from Abingdon. The railway station serves the village of Appleford and is approximately 8 miles south of Oxford on the Cherwell Valley Line. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Great Western Railway.
