The town is located on the Waveney River which is a gateway to the Broads network. The train station runs direct to London Liverpool Street via Ipswich, and the unspoilt Suffolk coastline with the beaches of Southwold and Walberswick are within easy driving distance.

Head out of Beccles via London Road/A143. Turn left onto Kemps Lane (before The Butchers Arms pub), then take the first left onto Pleasant Place. Take the first right turning onto Hillcrest Road, then immediatly Left onto Firfield Close. The property is situated at the end of the cul de sac on the right.
