" No1 Naval Terrace is a stunning Grade II* listed Georgian end terraced house situated in the highly sought after heritage quarter within the former Navy Dockyard at Sheerness. This spacious 5/6 bedroom period property has been sympathetically and lovingly updated over the past 7 years with the current owners showing impressive dedication and care in restoring and refurbishing the house, which now benefits from a range of original and reclaimed period fittings. As the name implies, this terrace of classic Georgian houses were originally built for Royal Navy officers in the Nineteenth century and as such, each was designed with simple but elegant proportions to a design by the renowned engineer John Rennie and architect George Ledwell Taylor. Our clients have maintained the property to include some if not all of the original Navy requirements such as ample storage cupboards, working sash windows and shutters, elegant fireplaces and period dΓ©cor. That said, there are the required modern features too with gas central heating, a modern fitted kitchen, utility room, 2 bathrooms and a separate WC. Outside and to the rear is a lovely, classically proportioned Georgian walled garden leading to a double garage with power and secure gated access for residents only. There are excellent road and rail links nearby, with Sheerness station some 2 minutes by foot with a new direct to London, Victoria early morning service up and running. Shuttle times are about 1h and 33 minutes. For much more information on this elegant period home, why not call Mark or Craig on 01795 662604.
