" RENOVATED, LARGER THAN AVERAGE HOME This semi detached home has had renovations throughout the property and makes an ideal family home. The front door opens into a hallway with walk in cupboard and stairway leading to the first floor. The lounge and dining room has been opened out to make one large room, with a square bay window and the rear has french doors leading to the garden. The kitchen has modern beech units with chrome handles and includes electric oven, hob and extractor fan and laminate flooring. The room has been extended out giving room for plumbing for dishwasher and washing machine, plus a small breakfast bar. There is a white upvc door opening to the garden. Upstairs there is a fully tiled bathroom with white suite including bath, separate corner shower cubicle and chrome heated towel rail. There are two double bedrooms and one single bedroom. The landing has access to a fully boarded loft with ladder for easy access and a light. A linen cupboard is also on the landing. The rear garden has timber decking and leads down to another patio area and lawn. It is south facing and includes a metal shed. A driveway at the front of the property allows for off road parking. Directly opposite is a primary school and playing field. Queenborough railway station is just a short walk, with the town centre also closeby. Maidstone and Sittingbourne is just twenty minutes and ten minutes respectively on the A249.
Location
Queenborough is a harbour town which evolved from a small Saxon settlement and is steeped in maritime history. The local railway station is on the Sheerness line which runs straight to Sittingbourne. At Sittingbourne a change can be made to travel on to London of which the whole journey is approximately one and half hours. The A249 connects you to the mainland taking you to Sittingbourne, Maidstone and the junctions for the M2 and M20 motorways. The local beaches at Leysdown and Sheerness boast 'Quality Coast Awards' are only a few short miles from Queenborough. The RSPB reserve at Elmley, and Raptor Viewing Platform at Capel Fleet give nature enthusiasts opportunities to watch the stunning array of birds who visit the island. "
