" Will it be the sought after location and landscaped south facing garden that interests you in this home? Or will it be the exceptional kitchen and great living space? This home is beautiful. It's a must see for anyone wanting to live in Scotforth!

What we like 'Whinfell Drive is a beautiful home. There is so much living space. We love how the french doors open out to the landscaped south facing garden' A great location Scotforth is a popular and sought after residential area which attracts a diverse client?le from young first time buyers, growing families, academics and the retired. The area has excellent amenities close by that include schools, shops, Booths supermarket and some popular dining pubs. The area is approximately 2 miles south of the city centre and due it's location it is very convenient for both of the Universities and the Hospital. Bus routes are regular, access to the M6 is within only a few miles. About this home Whinfell Drive impresses. It's a beautiful home which in recent years has been fully renovated by the present owners. It's a home which is flexible, with a great living space. For example the current owners choose to use the 2nd reception as second living room whilst neighbouring homes use this as a 3rd bedroom.

Throughout you'll find a home which is light and bright. It's upvc dg and gch. There's a useful ground floor wc for visiting guests. The kitchen and bathroom are both stylish. The garage is larger than many. You'll enjoy the south facing garden. It's a sun trap. Take a closer look. The living space Whinfell Drive benefits from not one but two immaculately presented reception rooms. The lounge area is spacious and decorated in fresh neutral tones. The room benefits from ample natural light due to the large bay window. To the centre of the room the main focal point has to be the log burner, installed just 18 months ago.

The dining space opens out onto the rear patio through French doors, allowing for a fantastic space to entertain in summer. The dining room follows the same decorative styling as the lounge, fresh, bright and neutral, complimented by a light oak laminate floor. There is plenty of room for a large family dining suite and other assorted furniture. The stylish kitchen At the heart of the home is the kitchen and this one is rather impressive. Fitted with luxurious dark units and a black granite effect worktop, there is extensive storage on offer. The appliances are all integrated behind the units and a Bosch oven and hob takes pride of place at the centre. There is an elegant cream/beige laminate floor. The tiled splash back complements. Just off the kitchen is the rear porch, offering a great place for kicking off your shoes, there is even room to sit and simply enjoy the garden. The bedrooms and bathroom Head upstairs and you'll be pleased to see two generous bedrooms and a huge walk in storage cupboard. We think, if you extended the dormer window along at the rear, there could be the space to create a 3rd bedroom. One of the neighbour's appears to have done this!

The master bedroom spans the front of the home. It's a spacious double and features a range of built in wardrobes which span one wall. It's bright with it's large dormer window. The 2nd bedroom is also a double. This softly decorated bedroom offers views over the rear garden.

The bathroom is fit with a 3-piece suite in white. There is a shower over the bath. It is fully tiled to complement. The landscaped garden The rear south facing garden is a sun trap. Sat there chatting to the owners it felt ever so sheltered. The current owners spent time having it hard landscaped for easy maintenance. Planted borders add colour and interest. The garage and parking The garage was replaced in 2008. It is larger than many measuring 5.1 meters in length x 2.9 meters wide. There is ample space for both a car and storage!
