" Landmark houses like this rarely become available and for Sterling House it's the first time in 32 years. This charming property has wisteria along its triple frontage, has been interior designed and has many original features including cornicing and high ceilings.

The herringbone brick paved carriage driveway is accessed through two sets of electric double gates and has parking for seven cars as well as an integral double garage. The Portland stone steps lead up to a raised double door entrance. As you walk through the inviting hallway, your eyes will be drawn to an exquisite galleried bifurcated staircase with brass handrails.

The ground floor consists of seven fabulous reception rooms. The split level drawing room has a front bay window, gas fireplace and sliding doors that open up onto a spectacular orangery that is flooded with natural light and can be opened up so that it feels part of the garden. Further receptions include a study, dining room, media room and morning room that links up the orangery with the kitchen / breakfast room. The solid oak kitchen has granite work surfaces, double sink with waste disposal system, double oven, halogen Neff 5 burner hob with extractor fan above, two Liebherr fridge and a Liebherr freezer.
