We fell in love with the location, as soon as we saw it in 1997, especially after the village has been a winner of the best kept village in Dorset. In the heart of the village is a well-stocked village store, which houses the post office and secluded little coffee shop. There is also a pub, and beautiful church, village hall and club. This is where the village comes together to celebrate a Christmas dinner. All within a 5-10 minutes slow walk from the property.
There is also a prestigious private school, where the use of their swimming pool and sports facilities are available on membership. This is just a little further on from the other amenities. The furthest bus stop is less than 500 yards from the property. There is a regular bus service, either to Blandford Forum or Shaftesbury (Home of Gold Hill and the Hovis advert).
