" This pretty home is straight from the pages of an Enid Blyton novel and has some really beautiful original features. It is set in this sought after village with its friendly community, so you too will instantly feel at home. Modernly presented, this home is ready to move into and put down your roots. The accommodation simply flows and is awash with light from the windows of the extension, creating a bright and welcoming environment. The kitchen is the hub of this home, it has modern units and is a great place for cooking up a storm for both family and friends. The living room has recently had oak flooring fitted and there is a pretty fireplace, helping create a cosy space for you to snuggle up in on those dark winter evenings, enveloped in the warmth from the fire. Moving upstairs, the master bedroom has a built-in wardrobe, it's own en-suite, creating a sanctuary from the kids, and a wall of windows that overlook the garden. You are able to watch the seasons go by from the comfort of your room.

The owners have taken a great deal of pride in their lawn. The garden is a great space for both keen gardeners to grow their own vegetables or for children to run around and let off steam. The rustic feeling is enhanced after seeing the squirrels playing on the summerhouse. So if you are looking for a chance to buy a slice of country life do not let this opportunity pass you by.

What the Owner says:

We searched for ages to find a pretty house with a large garden and found it really difficult to find a combination of both. When this house came on the market we went and viewed and instantly fell in love with it, as it ticked all our boxes.

Since moving in we have added an extension. We wanted to maintain the character of the front and still create more light in the property, so the architect designed the extension to the rear of the house to include a lot of windows.

The village is excellent and has a great primary school, pretty walks down by the castle and, of course, the zoo park.
