Agent’s wording:We are proud to offer for sale this substantial Victorian semi detached house with the benefits of a garage and off street parking, as they are rarely available!

This home has been in the family for years and now requires modernisation. It offers scope for a family who want to put their own mark and style into such an amazing house.

The sprawling accommodation is spread over three floors with scope to convert the cellar (subject to any permissions and regulations). By Brighton's standards the garden is huge and this too can be made into a beautiful oasis with the right planning and planting.

The location is perfect for anyone wishing to commute and can do so by either walking to London Road Station or just as easily walking to Brighton Mainline Station. There is green space just down the road at ‘The Level' or you can hop on a bus up to the Downs at Ditchling Beacon.

There are some really good local pubs in the area including the recently reopened Roundhill Tavern, the ever popular Signalman and the Open House for anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxing drink at the end of the day!

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

Our home has been loved and owned by our family for about 50 years. We were attracted to the house as it had such big rooms, high ceilings and a large garden, it was perfect for raising a family. There is also a large cellar which is great for storage and could potentially be made into extra rooms if anyone wanted to.

We found the location to be very handy for Central Brighton but there is also a good range of local shops on Ditchling Road itself. It was apparently originally built for a Senior Master at the adjacent building of the former Chichester Dioscesan Training College for schoolmistresses.
