What I Love About the Flat


We love that the flat has really wonderful feel, it's lovely place to come home to.

We love that the rooms are large, bright and airy with high ceilings with ornate coving and picture rails that frame each room.

One of things we love the most about the flat are the windows, there are 8 of them and they are all beautiful wooden sashes which have been double glazed. They let in vast amounts of light and yet keep the heat in and the noise out. The two large arch shaped windows in the living room are really quite special. It's lovely that the flat stays cool in summer and warm and cosy in winter.

We love the window seat in the kitchen which is great for sitting with a cup of tea with the sun beaming through.

The huge main bedroom is a really lovely tranquil space, it's great for getting ready in with large mirrored wardrobes with ample amounts of hanging and storage space within. The views from both bedroom windows are really pleasant as you wouldn't realise you were living in London as there's so much greenery even the view in winter is quite stunning.

We love the fresh modern bathroom with the lovely glass mosaic tiles and powerful rain shower head.

There's ample space in the loft for extra storage.

You can always find a parking space outside.

What I Love About the Area


We love that the flat is in walking distance in all directions to some really lovely parks. The nearest of which is Mountsfield park which has a really great cafe from which you can enjoy a spectacular view. Also The Cafe of Good Hope just up the road on Hither Green Lane is lovely for Sunday morning coffee with the papers.

The Aroma Beauty Rooms in Lee Green provide great beauty treatments in a really nice environment.

We love that Blackheath is just a 5 minute drive away, with it's lovely restaurants and delis and eclectic range of shops, My favourite of which is the gorgeous Stitches & Daughters were you can always pick up a last minute gift or card.

Also Lewisham centre is really convenient for shopping with Marks & Spencer, TKmaxx, Next, H&M, WHSmiths and many more. There's also a good market where you can pick up fresh fruit & veg. Bluewater Shopping Centre is only 20 minute car drive away and it only takes 15 minutes to get to Bromley Town Centre.

A great thing about we love about the flat is that we are surrounded by some really lovely neighbours, and we find the neighbourhood on the whole is really friendly and has a real sense of community.

What I Love about Socialising


We really love that there's some great pub's nearby with a short walk to the Ravensbourne that does a fantastic Sunday Lunch. There's also the Jolly Farmers and the Ladywell Tavern which both are really friendly.

We love a curry and the Bengal Brasserie in Hither Green has to be one of the best Indian restaurants in London. It has some really distinct dishes and isn't your usual run of the mill curry house.

Also real find for us is Sapporo's which is hidden away in Catford it has a great sunken seating area and does just the best Bento Boxes and the sushi is amazing!

There's a wonderful family run Italian restaurant nearby in Lee Green called Carola which does the freshest pizza I've ever tasted in London.

Greenwich is just a short drive away which has the Greenwich Picture House which shows all the latest films and it is also home to our favourite restaurant - The Rivington, which provides wonderful seasonal dishes and the oysters are delicious!

What's Great About Transport


We love that at the bottom of the road is a bus stop which has buses that will take you to practically anywhere in London and you never have to wait very long for a bus to arrive.

Ladywell Station and Hither Green are a both a 10 minute walk away, from both stations you can get to London Bridge in 10 minutes. It also takes less than 10 minutes by bus to get to Lewisham main line station and DLR.

We LOVE that the commute to Canary Wharf takes 40 minutes or less door to door."
