" This elegant Edwardian property has been owned by the same family for over forty years. It provides versatile space of approx. 2500 sq ft in an ideal location, close to amenities, stations and sought after schools. The house retains many period features and most rooms have open fireplaces with the original surrounds. The front door opens, via an entrance vestibule, into the hall, with original wood flooring and bookshelves. The front reception room is currently used for an acupuncture practice. It has a large bay window and an attractive open fireplace. An internal door leads through a lobby, past a WC on one side and a shower room with basin on the other, into the kitchenbreakfast room. This is separated by a peninsular unit from the kitchen, which has fitted units in a painted finish with laminate surfaces. There is a gas hob, a gas oven, a fridgefreezer, dishwasher, a double sink and a door to the side exterior. A door from the breakfast area leads into the sitting room with a sun area to the rear plus a window and a door to the garden. From the hall, there is a door to stairs which lead down to the basement. This has natural light from a window at one end and the versatile space has been used as an additional room for various purposes over the years. Upstairs there are four double bedrooms and a family bathroom and a separate WC. Stairs lead up to the loft which has been converted to create a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a bath, basin and WC and a dormer window.
