 ***Vendor‘s comments:*** &quote;Peaceful, spacious and well situated. It is deceptive just how big our home is inside and we were surprised when we first moved here how quiet the road was for somewhere so close to Croydon’s Town centre. We have lived here happily for 20 years raising two daughters. Now that they have grown up and flown the nest it is time for us to sell our home and move on to pastures new. We hope that the next occupants of our house will be as happy here as we have all been. A lot of work has been put into the house since we first moved in. Installing central heating, double glazing and re-wiring the entire house. We are particularly proud of the upstairs bathroom, having fitted in an electric shower which is separate from the bath. We are equally proud of the kitchen which has plenty of space to work in and enjoys a view of the south-facing garden. The garden itself is a manageable size, an ideal place to spend sunny afternoons and if a bigger green space is needed, we are a two-minute walk from Wandle Park. A good size garden shed provides a handy outside workspace and storage. There is also a large amount of storage space in the house’s loft which has been boarded over and is easily accessed by a loft hatch ladder. We have enjoyed the use of the area’s amazing local transport links. There are many bus routes nearby and Wandle Park Tram stop is a stone’s throw away on the line running from Wimbledon to New Addington. There are train stations at East Croydon, West Croydon and Waddon which are all short walks away, providing an easy journey into London. Close at hand, there are local shops including a Newsagent, Take Away, Laundrette and Convenience Store, and there are three Supermarkets on the nearby Purley Way. Croydon‘s Town centre is a 10-minute walk away from the Whitgift and Centrale Shopping Centres.
