** Vendors comments ** &quote;They say a house chooses you rather than you choose the house! That was the case when I purchased Tugela road.

I remember seeing my home for the first time as if it were yesterday. As I turned off Northcote road into Tugela road, the stark differences were immediate as the lovely cul-de-sac lined with trees, gives Tugela road an ‘away from Croydon less hustle and bustle feel‘! The Victorian layout of the exterior drew me in; I entered the open airy living room and could see all my interior design ideas come to life. The second reception room added to the feel of open space and flow! Both my daughter and I could see ourselves in the space… a new family home, which we could put our stamp on.

I believe the kitchen is the heart of the home... I recently decided to lovingly upgrade my kitchen, which provided more storage space and niche touches (including a wine fridge). I didn‘t limit my upgrade to just the kitchen, I modernised the bathroom and decorated throughout. Upstairs we have two lovely large bedrooms, both of which are doubles which was great, it allowed us time to grow into the space.

There‘s an opportunity to extend and add in an extra bedroom and bathroom

(STPP), a few examples of extensions can be found on the road.

There is easy access to Selhurst and East Croydon approximately 15 to 18-minute walk away. Norwood Junction is a short bus route away, making it a perfect location for great transport links into London and 20 minutes door to door for Gatwick Airport. We have been very happy in our home for more than 15 years. It will be hard to replicate the sense of community on the road&quote;.
