" Although this Art Deco style family home has been well loved by the current owners, it does now require some modernisation and updating. Potential is the key word with this house as there’s lots of it. If it’s a project you’re after then you’ve found it. We also feel that maybe the new owner might want to revise the layout to incorporate a kitchen/breakfast room by either knocking through into the existing dining room or by converting the integral garage, (subject to obtaining any necessary consents). The property is ideally situated opposite a pleasant
tree lined green, which makes for a lovely outlook from the lounge and the front bedrooms upstairs. There are also fine open views from the rear as it looks over a local nature reserve. On the ground floor there is a generous size through lounge/dining room, a kitchen and a full width conservatory across the back of the house. On the first floor there are four bedrooms and a family bathroom. If you know Patcham you’ll know that shared driveways are the norm and private driveways are often hard to come by, but this house does have one of its own which leads to the garage. There is also a lawned rear garden which is of Southerly aspect. Early viewing is highly recommended.

What the Owner says:

This has been my family home for fifty years and I have been very happy here, with the lovely “Green” at the front and “Downs” at the back. I like not being overlooked, and have good neighbours and a bus-stop nearby. With more cars on the roads, having my own drive has been a real plus, as has my own side-gate and gate onto the “Downs”. The location couldn’t be better, and yet I can imagine the changes that new owners could make to transform my house into their own.
